Founded in LA in 2009 by two former college athletes, APL has grown to become a globally recognised world leader in luxury performance footwear.

APL products, like McLaren supercars, are driven by innovation with world-class patented technologies and sophisticated silhouettes. For our first luxury footwear collaboration, APL were the perfect fit.

INTRODUCING THE McLAREN HYSPEED™

Agility. Luxury. Performance. The McLaren HySpeed™ is an all-purpose, unisex running trainer co-developed by the APL and McLaren design teams. Featuring an advanced fitment system inspired by the McLaren Senna seats, this stunning lightweight knitted creation is available in five bespoke colourways – including iconic McLaren Orange.

The striking profile is formed by a new version of APL’s TechLoom knitted upper – featuring reinforced superyarn to increase tensile strength. Drawing influence from McLaren engineering, a V-weave carbon fibre plate in the sole promotes forward motion.
